All the Goodness of Life is a Cup

Day 2...Be sure to stop on over to the Spring Coffee Lover's BlogHop and check out all the great projects and cards...they are filled with inspiration...join in the fun...you have until the 25th to submit as many cards as you want that are Spring themed and include coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

In my travels I had seen an image where a teacup was made into a flower which inspired me to make a bouquet of flowers with teacups and use the tea kettle for the pot.

So off to Cricut Design Space to find an appropriate stem and leaves to go with the teacup chosen. I chose a stem with flowers (seen below), and pulled in two of the same to work some magic...modifying using combinations of slice, weld, attach, and reverse image.  After the stem and leaves were completed I made a back panel with a lighter color green, adhered to other image, distressed the leaves.
The teacups and sentiment were from a Stamp Set from Verve, and the teapot was another Cricut Design Space die-cut which I didn't even have to modify or change the size...perfect.

The purple panel, using the negative from a doily cut, was adhered to red cardstock, and layered with a yellow border.  The flower teacups were stamped, colored, fussy-cut, attached to the leaves which were distressed, and then floral image was adhered to the card with 3D thin foam tape

Teapot was cut with design paper and one other layer, distressed along edges, and using both 3D Regular and Thin Foam Tape to make the teapot more dimensional and rounded.

Used the teacup stamp and put a border of cups on the inside of card.
